SCHIZMA is one of the longest running and most popular, also internationally Polish hard core bands. The band was formed in 1990 in the city of Bydgoszcz. During over three decades of its existence the band has gone through a lot of line up changes, however since the very beginning until today it has been true to the non-conformist sound of hard core and the ethics of independence. The band’s output icludes 9 full length albums and many minor releases, however what SCHIZMA lives for are their blazin’ live shows attracting crowds of devoted hard core fanatics. Apart from having toured across Poland many times, the band paid frequent visits to several European countries. SCHIZMA’s most exotic trip so far was the visit at Korean International Busan Rock Festival to play alongside Cannibal Corpse and Kreator in front of a crowd of 20 thousand people. SCHIZMA is also a representative of domestic hard core scene, regularly sharing the stage with world’s finest acts such as DRI, Sick of it All, Madball, Integrity, Terror, Ignite, Anthrax to name a few. They also have promoted numerous tours introducing in Poland several rising, befriended European bands such as Jaylan, L’esprit Du Clan, Providence, Final Prayer or Length of Time.
Year 2023 sees the band promoting their most anticipated and refined full length album called “Upadek” released by Piranha Music. It is meant to confirm their legendary status in Poland and push the band onto another level while still maintaining underground roots.
